Facebook Small LogoHundreds of women engaged in healthy food and farming will gather in Portland, Oregon, next week at the Doubletree by Hilton for the 5th National Conference for Women in Sustainable Agriculture. If you ARE registered, we want to flag a few events and workshops for your attention, and hope to see you there!

WFAN is well-represented on the conference program, first offering a pre-conference train-the-trainer session on Tuesday along with the National Farmers Union on how to conduct leadership trainings for women. During the conference proper, WFAN executive director Bridget Holcomb will join Erin Vilardi and Liz Johnson of VoteRunLead to offer a Plate to Politics leadership training session on Friday, Dec. 2, at 9 a.m. in the Idaho Room. Then at 11:30 a.m. in Idaho, join WFAN board members Anna Bruen, Patti Edwardson, Anna Johnson, and Ahna Kruzic for Telling Our Stories: Change-making and Ecofeminism.
