Women farmland owners in the Raccoon River Watershed are invited to attend an upcoming meeting in your area this October. Saturday, October 10

Meet at 9 a.m. at Whiterock Conservancy, 1436 Highway 141, Burr Oak Shelter. Includes lunch and tour around conservancy grounds. Meeting concludes by 3 p.m. at Whitework Conservancy. RSVP by Monday, October 26, by emailing Angie Carter at this link.

Women landowners are invited to meet with others in their area to discuss changing the conversation around soil health and the future of their farmland. We will discuss how to protect your land through conversations with future heirs and your tenant(s). Meetings will include a light lunch and field visit by bus to view agricultural practices focusing on soil health and biodiversity.

Meetings are free. Participation is limited to 20 per meeting. Please RSVP by emailing Angie Carter at this link if you plan to attend. Please plan to dress for the weather and wear shoes appropriate to walk around outdoors.
