Women Caring for the LandSM offers a peer-to-peer, informal discussion format to allow women landowners to talk about their farm management goals, facilitated by women conservationists.  This response from one attendee is typical of our landowners’ experiences: “I came to learn what I can so I can contribute to conversations about the farm.  If you don’t know, you don’t have a voice.”

The programs, sponsored by county conservation offices, Prairie Rivers of Iowa and Women, Food and Agriculture Network is called Women Caring for the LandSM. The meeting is April 2 from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm at 2283 Park Road, Toledo, Iowa. Free lunch is provided.

If this describes you, we invite you to have a light meal with us to meet and talk with other women like you. On March 19 there will be a meeting at FFA Enrichment Center, 1055 SW Prairie Trail Pkwy, Ankeny, Iowa. The meeting will run from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
